This month’s Carquinez Strait Talkers will be meeting on Saturday, March 21, 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Club Tac (restaurant side), 1336 Pomona Street. This is a free event for all ages and the subject is “Bootleggers & Bars”. Refreshments will be served.
CalEPA is hosting a Refinery Safety Forum on Thursday, March 26, 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Crockett Community Center. Participating and planning organizations include local, state, and federal agencies; labor and contractor organizations; refineries; academia; and community and environmental groups. The topics are Community warning systems and transportation of petroleum by rail and other means.
