Together we can on December 1

In this time of uncertainty, there’s a fundamental truth that gives us hope – that together we can do extraordinary things. Over the past few months, the entire world has been coming together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal. Whether that’s through donations to community organizations, celebrating doctors and nurses at shift changes, or reaching out to a neighbor to help with groceries, generosity has been helping the entire world get through this global pandemic. Together. John Swett Education Foundation is participating in GivingTuesday, the global day of unity and giving.

John Swett Education Foundation (JSEF) is dedicated to expanding, enhancing, and restoring academic and extracurricular programs within the John Swett Unified School District in collaboration with parents, educators, and the community.

When the pandemic changed the course of schools to provide distance learning, our community generously donated money to JSEF to provide funding to the John Swett Unified School District for students to access the Internet from their homes. In addition, at a time when families were under financial hardship, we provided funding to cover the cost of taking Advanced Placement tests at the end of last school year. We continue to raise funds to support education. But we can’t do this without you! Not only do we need your support, we need your help to spread the word. Please tell your friends and family why you believe in our work and encourage them to support us too! Here is how you can help.

1. Mark your calendar for December 1 to donate at www.johnswettef.org

2. Give. On December 1, go to www.johnswettef.org and donate. Crockett Community Foundation will provide matching funds for the first $1000 raised (up to $100 per donor).

3. Spread the word. Encourage your friends and family to join you in creating a real impact on December 1 by sharing what our mission means to you and why you support our organization. Make sure to use hashtag #GivingTuesday and tag us so we can share! Let’s rally together to build stronger communities. Learn more at www.johnswettef.org.
